About The Vedas

 

 

The Vedas, founded by Production Designer Madhusudan N.,  brings together diverse Art directors, Artists, Designers, Set Decorators, Sculptors, Painters, Carpenters, Fabricators and workmen to execute gorgeous compositions for Films, Commercials and OTT platforms.

My vision for any project is to be simple, precise and real. Production Design helps me realize my imagination, sometimes envisaging larger than life compositions and creating a world where an actor or talent lives in, albeit temporarily. 

​

My first independent feature film got me a Filmfare nomination, but that's never enough is it! I have been a Production Designer in projects like Stree, Tribhanga, A Thursday, Upstarts, Bestseller and a lot more, and have had the privilege to work with some of the industry's finest technicians including Santosh Sivan, Raj& DK, Baba Azmi, Renuka Shahane, Siddharth Malhotra, Hansal Mehta and many others. I have also had the pleasure of collaborating with some of the biggest production houses like RSVP, Maddock, D2R films, Alchemy productions, Applause entertainment and others.

With over 9 years of experience and having completed 11 independent films/webseries and more than 300 commercials, I still come to set every day with an eagerness to create magic through art. 

​

In my spare time I work out religiously, watch all Arsenal matches and drink a lot of black coffee.

 

I have been featured in several magazines and media including Men's Health, Hindustan Times, Mid day and many other digital platforms.

The "Vedas" means "Knowledge" and that's what I will always strive for as a permanent student of my craft: to learn and grow.
